Sunway trip

Had an outing with Lady_E. We went ice-skating. First time tried it and it's fun. But, we had no idea what's the right technique, so stumble here and there and fell down a couple of times. I'm gonna be blue-black tomorrow. >.< It's weekend so quite expensive. We were equipped with skates and gloves. And stayed in the ring for around give or take three hours. And I still don't get it! LOL..

 

Then, of course we went shopping. We found the friendship ring we were looking for. ^^ We search a lot of stores during our last outing but didn't find any to our liking or suitable size. This time, we got them! ^^

A small gathering with garfield

Saturday afternoon, had a small outing with Garfield. We met for only 5 hours yet we had two meals. LOL.. Just shows how we <3 food! I love the yogurt cheese cake we had. It's deli~cious.. I wanna eat it again! Ice blended green tea, we should have gone to Coffee Bean or Starbucks... *sigh* Oh well, tried it and won't order it next time.

The GPS malfunctioned and experience slight memory loss so we walked in circles over and over... Yet, just looking around.. The place is flooded with Raya shoppers, and plenty of sales everywhere. Provided you are in the mood to crush with them, or else, it's window shopping...

At the end of the day, I just realised, we didn't take any photos.. WTH! Too intense on talking till forgot all bout them.. Hahaz. Let's see is there any chance of photographs this Tuesday! ^^

Delivery

Hmmm... Why didn't I think of this before? One of the greatest invention of mankind, besides microwave oven (^^), is the internet! One click of my mouse and viola! 20 minutes later, a freshly baked Hawaian Supreme pizza, garlic breadstick and a coleslaw arrive outside the gate. All I have to do is walk down, pay and I have my highly satisfying lunch/dinner... I don't even have to use the phone... >.<

And it's de~licious! Yummy!!!!! To think that I was whining about being hungry, nothing to eat, blah blah blah before.... x.x

Moral of this lesson is: you can't die of hunger, you'll only die because you didn't use your brain... ^.^

Mary stayed out all night

A korean drama featuring a girl, Mary whose father is heavily indebted met a rock singer one day. When her dad was running away from debtors, he met an old friend who is rich now after going into business in Japan. This friend decided to help him clear his debts and wanted Mary to marry his son. Mary is reluctant so she fake married the rock singer. But, her dad stole her identity card and married her to the rich guy's son. Legally, she's married to the rich guy and she held a wedding with the rock singer.. So, they start a 100 day deal. After 100 days of being with them, she was to choose which one she wants. At first, she don't want any of them but gradually rock singer and her fell in love. The rich guy's son fell in love with her as well. So, on and on, a lot of stuff happen but in the end, there's a happy ending. ^^
I don't really like the plot. But the drama is funny. A lot of scenes where it's so cute, or sweet or just hilarious. So, quite a good drama to cheer you up and pass time when you feel bored.
And of course, I've to ask myself again. WTH am I thinking, watching it with four days till exam???
*speechless* I've no idea what to say...

Remember Me?

Another Sophie Kinsella book. I think I'm kinda getting addicted to her book with exam just round the corner. What am I thinking???
Probably not thinking at all! x.x The book is quite nice as all her books are. ^^ This is about a girl falling down one night and found herself waking up 3 years later losing all memories of the past three years. She found herself all different. She now has a millionaire handsome husband, from being a junior sales manager to head of department, looking like crap to looking like a supermodel, living in a flat to a loft/penthouse, and kinda is a millionairess herself. It's like a dream to her. Just that life isn't as perfect as it seems.
First, she lost all her friends, and people regard her as the 'cobra', and seems like she is having an affair with her husband's architect. It's frustrating when you read the memory loss part and you wish she'd just remember. But it's quite okay the story. The lover is way more lovable than the husband. Definitely. A good book! ^^

A different lunch

So, I went to the cafeteria for lunch today. Never been there. The place is run by the hospitality management students meaning the food is cooked by would be chef and services are provided by would be waiters and waitresses. They definitely have much to learn still.
The lunch menu today is salad nicoise for starter. It's a dish with green lettuce, tomatoes, green pepper, green beans, potatoes, hard boiled egg, fish egg(? the orange thingy usually found in sushi, lol) and tuna. I like it okay. No complain there. ^^
The main dish is Pan fried John Dolly Fillet served with Remoulade sauce, braised cabbage with herbs and potato gratin. I like the potato gratin, just love cheese! The fish is too salty, but the sauce is nice. The braised cabbage with herbs, either I don't appreciate it or it's not my cup of tea. Just not right.
The dessert is vanilla ice-cream. I ordered a drink, Violet Rose. A blend of grapes, strawberry and yogurt. It was nice, not very sweet and fruity enough so quite refreshing. Just not enough yogurt. But overall a nice experience.
Never been there before, don't even know it exists until the week before last. When we decide to take a different route to canteen. Never used this route before so quite surprised when I saw the place. ^^

Twenties Girl

A wonderful book by Sophie Kinsella. A lot of funny scenes and it's so nice... Can't help laughing out loud. It's about a girl, Lara who just broke up with her boyfriend but can't get over it yet. She was forced to attend her great aunt's funeral (105 yrs old) one day, and during the funeral, she saw her great aunt's ghost in her 23year old state. Her great aunt was looking for a necklace and won't rest till she has it.. SO, they work together to look for it, while trying to solve her love life, career path and friendship issues. It was really great, the plot and all. Sometimes, you will pity Lara, why the hell is her great aunt so spoiled, not really, just scary when she wants her own way, manipulating all the people around. But still, her manipulating was very very amusing. Definitely a MUST read book! It will cheer you up... ^^
