So, I went to the cafeteria for lunch today. Never been there. The place is run by the hospitality management students meaning the food is cooked by would be chef and services are provided by would be waiters and waitresses. They definitely have much to learn still.
The lunch menu today is salad nicoise for starter. It's a dish with green lettuce, tomatoes, green pepper, green beans, potatoes, hard boiled egg, fish egg(? the orange thingy usually found in sushi, lol) and tuna. I like it okay. No complain there. ^^
The main dish is Pan fried John Dolly Fillet served with Remoulade sauce, braised cabbage with herbs and potato gratin. I like the potato gratin, just love cheese! The fish is too salty, but the sauce is nice. The braised cabbage with herbs, either I don't appreciate it or it's not my cup of tea. Just not right.
The dessert is vanilla ice-cream. I ordered a drink, Violet Rose. A blend of grapes, strawberry and yogurt. It was nice, not very sweet and fruity enough so quite refreshing. Just not enough yogurt. But overall a nice experience.
Never been there before, don't even know it exists until the week before last. When we decide to take a different route to canteen. Never used this route before so quite surprised when I saw the place. ^^
